For me learning about and practicing Homeopathy has helped me built a connection between my brain and my heart and soul. It has helped me view the world in a holistic, non-judgmental way. I have become an individualist and i have learned to realize that it is never too late to rethink things to try again, try harder to grow and change and evolve.
{What exactly is Homeopathy}?
Homeopathy is based on the idea that large doses of a substance will cause a symptom, while potentized doses of that substance will cure it.
It is therefore based on the law of similars: The principal that ‘Like cures like’. Furthermore it is based on the idea that the body has the ability to heal itself by stimulating the immune system. It activates the body’s own healing processes in order to cure dis-ease, naturally and gently. Medicines are derived from the animal, plant and mineral kingdom and work on an energetic level. By re-tuning and strengthening the vital force.
Classical Homeopathy is beneficial in helping people with a wide variety of problems. Among them are ADD or ADHD, Allergies, Asperger Syndrome, Asthma, Autism, Bipolar, Candida & Other Yeast Problems, Children's Behavioral Problems, Chronic Fatigue, Depression, Digestive Problems, Dyslexia & Learning Disabilities, Ear Infections, Fears or Anxieties, Fibromyalgia, Grief, Headaches and Migraines, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or Colitis, Infertility, Insomnia, Menstrual Problems, Mood Swings, Multiple Sclerosis, PMS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, TMJ Problems.
And lots more...
{Homeopathy vs. Allopathy}
Homeopathic thinking is holistic. Allopathy treats the patient as a sick organ or a sick tissue. When a person is ill, he or she may bounce from specialist to specialist. Homeopathy, on the other hand, treats the entire person. It's the difference between seeing the person as a collection of parts and seeing the person as a synthesis. Although other forms of alternative medicine call themselves holistic, there is a difference. Other forms of alternative medicine may address the larger social and emotional problems left unaddressed by allopathic medicine, often they address them separately. Homeopathy instead addresses all the problems as a single unit. This is why homeopathy gives a single medicine to treat a disease, because it believes that all the problems a person may suffer from stem from a single underlying problem.
